Background and purpose: The aim of the research is to determine the role of Islam and its foundations in joining or not joining, accepting or not accepting treaties and documents at the international level. In this article, an attempt has been made to answer the question, what will be the approach of the Islamic jurisprudence-legal system and the Islamic Republic of Iran's rules in the face of international documents and treaties?

Materials and methods: This article is descriptive and analytical. Materials and data are also qualitative and data collection was used in collecting materials and data.

Ethical considerations: In this article, the originality of the texts, honesty and trustworthiness are observed.

Findings: The 2030 document is in conflict with religious teachings and legal provisions regarding women in Iran in various cases, including the field of women's equality. The first conflict is related to the concept of equality. Equality in jurisprudence and law refers to the natural differences in the creation of men and women, but the 2030 document emphasizes the equality of men and women.

Result: In facing the 2030 sustainable development agenda, there are two methods of analysis and criticism: firstly, text-based criticism and secondly, criticism based on the theoretical and thought-oriented space, which will be more important. The innovative aspect of the upcoming article is the theoretical critique of this document with an approach to the basic principle of preserving the integrity and independence of Islam.
