Abstract
Background and purpose: Today, decent work, in addition to having a significant economic aspect, is also of interest from a human rights perspective. For this reason, the present study seeks to search for the criteria of decent work in the field of economic jurisprudence by examining the opinions of jurists, verses, and narrations. Materials and Methods: The method of the present article is analytical and descriptive, and the research tool is also library. Ethical Considerations: Documented referencing and trustworthiness in the use of sources are considered by the authors of the article. Findings: Decent work in economic jurisprudence and the opinions of jurists includes freedom of association within the framework of the principle of advice, prohibition of forced labor and forced labor without the consent of individuals, negation of relationships based on discrimination and injustice based on the principle of harmlessness, and non-employment of children based on the negation of hardship and hardship, which are also negated in the teachings of human rights. Conclusion: The labor system in Islamic society requires the implementation of decent work in general in order to align with the teachings of human rights. On the other hand, workers, business people, and entrepreneurs need special support so that they can demand their changing rights and be a support for the independence and progress of Islamic society.
