Abstract
Background and Aim: In the last two decades, the two countries of China, with high economic growth and large economic volume and extensive trade, are looking for a new system of power relations and international relations with the innovative Belt and Road project. By adopting a geo-economic strategy, this country pursues the policy of connecting and accessing the geopolitical spheres of Eurasia. In this framework, Iran's space has been chosen by China as a suitable option for creating communication corridors in Eurasia, the focal point of which is Chabahar Port. The purpose of this article is to examine the role of Chabahar in the 25-year cooperation document between Iran and China.
Materials and Methods: This article is descriptive and analytical. Materials and data are also qualitative and data collection was used in collecting materials and data.
Ethical Considerations: In this article, the originality of the texts, honesty and trustworthiness are observed.
Findings: The findings showed that Chabahar has a vital role for China due to its perspective to play a role as a complement to the CPEC corridor, because this port points. This port is connected to Northern Europe through Russia, connects with China and the Far East through Central Asia, and connects with Southeast Asian countries through the Indian Ocean.
Conclusion: The result is that Chabahar has a key position in the 25-year cooperation document between Iran and China. Chabahar can also be used to establish a commercial connection with the Mediterranean Sea.
