Abstract
Background and Aim: Nowadays media play an important role in Community. Media literacy Candefine Various roles for citizenship rights. The aim of present Study is to Consider the status of media literacy in ensuring citizenship rights.
Materials and Method: The research method is descriptive and analytical. For data collection Visiting the library and using books and articles have been considered.
Ethical considerations: Honesty and trustworthiness have been observed in all stages of writry the article while respecting the principle of texts originality:
Findings: According to the third principle of the constitution, the government is required to take advantage of the facilities to raise the level of public awareness through the appropriate use of media. The rights of citizens, under the influence of media literacy leads to Seeking democracy, fighting against Cultural invoision, Social justice and enlightenment.
Conclusion: Media literacy deals with the awareness to use media. Therefore, media literacy leads to Citizens engagement in Society, citizenship rights (awareness-raising) and responsibilities the formation of critical thinking, legal discourse, and democracy. Thus human requires the promotion and dissemination of media litracy.
