Introduction: Understanding the factors affecting social harm is one of the most important concerns of today's societies. Specifically, social problems such as Internet addiction and even work addiction are social injuries that require control, planning, and prevention.
Methods: This descriptive-analytical study utilized documentary and library resources to investigate social damages such as internet addiction and addiction. This approach has the advantage that it analyzes the collected data in an analytical way.
Results: Addiction begins with a need, and certainly every society is faced with a variety of aberrations and problems that are detrimental to its developmental process, appropriate to its conditions, culture, and growth. However, Internet addiction and addiction to work in new kinds of problems are emerging issues in contemporary society that are themselves a factor in the emergence of other social disadvantages.
Discussion and Conclusion: Using techniques such as labor law regulation and proper use of Internet media and increasing media literacy are some of the solutions that can reduce the effects of work addiction. Supporting governments' support for reforming labor laws and limiting cyber bullying can also be a solution to reducing work addiction and Internet addiction.
