Abstract
Background and Aim: The global economy has caused international financial law to become more important than in the previous decade, and in the meantime, the role of financial legal contracts is more important. Therefore, the main goal of the current research is to examine how the legal contracts of the Islamic Republic of Iran are related to international financial relations. Materials and Methods: The current research is a documentary research methodology and it is classified as applied research in terms of its purpose. The community of the current research is the official and unofficial documents available in the field of contracts of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of international financial relations, whose validity was confirmed by the opinion of experts. Results: The results of the research on the issues of legal regulation of Iran's financial and credit relations with global financial institutions showed that although Iran has made efforts to restore financial relations with reputable financial institutions in the world, but two factors have caused this process to become problematic: the first is the issue of international sanctions against Iran, and the second is the rules and regulations governing Iran's financial system. Conclusion: The result of the research also shows that the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in order to revive its financial relations with financial institutions as well as other countries and attract foreign investments, should take measures to remove international sanctions and amend its financial and banking laws and regulations.
