Background and Aim: In today's era, television as one of the most important media plays an irreplaceable role in the formation of culture and civilization, jurisprudence can also act as a frame of reference to enrich television productions and improve the cultural level of society. Therefore, the article is about examining media jurisprudence with the approach of television.

Findings: Media jurisprudence is facing many challenges; including the high speed of developments in the media arena, the diversity and plurality of media types, the globalization of the media, etc. In addition, jurisprudence rulings related to art are transversal and according to the requirements of time and place and different conditions, they can be deduced from new rulings.
Conclusion: Considering the fact that the subject of art is a construct from the perspective of a dynamic ijtihad system, attention should be paid to the three areas of "artist", "audience" and "text of the work". In the domain of the artist, the criterion of discussion is the intention of the artist.
