Abstract
Background and Purpose: Security has been one of the most important concerns of mankind throughout the ages. However, security has never been a static concept and has been transformed in every period of history to meet human conditions and needs. One of the most important aspects of security is institutional security and one of the most important forms of human security is environmental security, which has faced many threats along with industrial development. Accordingly, the purpose of this article is to examine the role of international non-governmental organizations in facing environmental threats to human security.
Materials and Methods: This article is descriptive and analytical. Materials and data are also qualitative and data collection was used in collecting materials and data.
Ethical Considerations: In this article, the originality of the texts, honesty and trustworthiness are respected.
Findings: The findings showed that the World Red Cross non-governmental organizations have been active in the formation of international documents to support victims of natural disasters and armed conflicts in the form of humanitarian aid. It is necessary for the international these new threats and to determine a special trustee for them and to prepare the necessary mechanisms and tools to deal with them.
Result: The result is that. It is an undeniable necessity to draw up an international agreement whereby the right to receive humanitarian aid as well as the right to access victims of natural disasters is officially and explicitly recognized.
