Ethical Considerations: In this article, the originality of the texts, honesty and trustworthiness are observed. Findings: The findings showed that the necessity and place of prevention in criminology is not hidden from anyone. Prevention of recidivism in the past meant a staggering security, economic and social cost of recidivism for the society, which was not the right idea. In fact, one of the signs of the dangerous situation of criminals is the repetition of crimes. This issue is widely known and has attracted the attention of criminal law experts all over the world. One of the ways to fight and prevent recidivism is issuing long sentences and harsher punishments. Nevertheless, when results are found that prevent the development of recidivism, people can expect prevention and rehabilitation of criminals. Conclusion: Criminals are reformed and respected by their humane behavior in prison, and they are trained to integrate very well by neutralizing the reasons for committing crimes. The continuation of these actions after leaving freedom plays a fundamental role in the return of these people to a healthy and crime-free life.
