Background and Aims: Metaverse is a new technology that enables presence in the virtual and three-dimensional world by using interface tools. In this environment, people are able to buy virtual land and can build digital skyscrapers on the purchased land. It is also possible for artists to perform programs and advertise their business owners. Metaverse platform transactions are going on using cryptocurrencies. The purpose of this article is to analyze the malfeasance of encrypted assets (virtual assets) in the metaverse platform and also to investigate the issue of payment by means of cryptocurrencies as a commodity.
Materials and Methods: This article is descriptive and analytical. Materials and data are also qualitative, and data collection has been used to collect materials and data.
Ethical considerations: In this article, the originality of the texts, honesty and trustworthiness are observed.
Findings: The findings showed that the trading challenges of the Metaverse space are the categories of as a contractual exchange with the ability to be determined in domestic transactions and have not announced its permission, but the use of this payment instrument as an exchange in international transactions. It is a common and increasing contract.
Result: As a result, it can be predicted that in the future, the issue of determining cryptocurrencies as the of environment will be one of the challenges of entering the Metaverse. Finally, the legislator has to make it possible to use cryptocurrencies in domestic transactions as well, according to an additional note.
