Background and Aims: Women's employment in Iran faces restrictions that have been the subject of debate and controversy. The purpose of this article is to examine the restrictions of women's employment in the laws of Iran, Egypt, and France, and in this way to provide a clearer view of women's employment rights in Iran.
Materials and Methods: This article is descriptive and analytical. The materials and data are also qualitative and data collection has been used.
Ethical Considerations: In this article, the originality of the texts, honesty and trustworthiness are respected.
Findings: In Iranian law, women are the head of the family, and the man has the right to prevent his wife from working in circumstances such as harming the family's interests and the dignity of the couple. In addition to the mentioned limitation, women are not allowed to work in some jobs such as leadership experts. In Egyptian law, although there is no legal prohibition regarding women's employment, social conditions act as a limiting factor for women's rights, and in French law, women's right to occupation is not limited, although the wage level of women may be lower than Men.
Conclusion: If a man violates his right to be the head of the family and opposes the woman's employment for no reason, the wife can claim damages from him for preventing the employment of the husband.
